Hi Mike, Following up on our conversation last week on the chatboard, I would like to thank you for giving me some advance notice of your broadcast last Sunday morning. Normally in November, a group of 4 of us travel to Newfoundland on Canada's east coast and up set a series of longwire antennas, including a 350 metre long wire that is aimed at Europe. Last year we were unable to all travel to Newfoundland, but this year, we were able to return and do some listening. I may have sent you these pictures before, but, I have attached a picture of our group from 2019 and a photo of the location where we were listening. I have attached an audio clip made at so that you can hear the quality of reception from across the Atlantic. Reception quality was exceptionally good considering how far away we were. You can hear the station identification and your shout out to me and my listening companions. Programming consisted of pop music including "Black and White" , "Paint It Black" and a song by John and Vangellis. I am curious as to where you are located in the Netherlands as I have visited there several times for work. Reception details : Date : November 14 2021 Time : 0734 to 0748 UTC Frequency : 5840 kHz SINPO : 54444 (in Newfoundland) - Very Good!
I hope that this report is of interest and that you will be able to verify it with your QSL. Regards, John Fisher, Kingston, Ontario, CANADA

Hi guys, powerhouse 55545 signal tonight on 6280, sounds like listening to AM, best I've heard you. You just played Bad English followed by Leonard Cohen - Suzanne, Suzanne Vega (good segue!) - Marlene On The Wall and The Crusaders - Street Life, the long and best version!!!! The mod as ever with you guys is superb! Using my own Tescun with a longwire aerial. Lovely sunny here, so windows open listening to the great tunes. Would appreciate a QSL when you get the chance, 73s Simon

Hi! I heard your station on April 9, 2021 at 17.29 UTC on 4895 khz. I'd give the reception a SIO-rating of 444. A bit of disturbances and fading. Some details from the 30 minutes I listened: "Suspicious Minds" , "San Sebastian" Reports of microphone problems My best friend", greetings to a listener, Alexander from Minsk, "Space Oddity" by David Bowie
I use an Eska receiver from the 80's and 7 or 8 meters of wire in the garden for antenna. I really like the show and the relaxing music ๐Ÿ˜ƒ
Take care!

Hi Mike Radio 'team', I am writing to say how pleased I was to have heard/logged Mike Radio yesterday morning (Sunday 4th April 2021) and for the first time - not knowingly heard/logged 'you' before! Sorry, not a detailed Reception Report though! but I offer the following notes for your info. Heard you from 0905-0930UTC approx. on the frequency of 6195 kHz. Your signal was quite strong. Good but with just a slight drift. Minimal noise or interference. SINPO=45444. My receiver is a Grundig Sat 3400 with random wire connected. I heard a few (not sure how many exactly) enjoyable instramental tracks (that I could not identify). Then close to 0925UTC approx. I heard a female voice give station ID and website address (hence being able to contact you) followed by a vocal record ('Only Want To Be With You' - if correct title?). Then a little Abba - I think it was?. Shortly after 0930UTC station was c/d. Look forward to tuning-in again and perhaps a more detailed Report for you. Regards and 73's, Albert E. Ford
